Corrine Fitzpatrick

Corrine Fitzpatrick is a poet and art writer based in Brooklyn, NY. Recent reviews, essays, and interviews have been published in Cura Magazine (Rome), C Magazine (Toronto), == # 2 (a small-run arts publication edited by Matt Keegan), and on Artforum.com. She is a graduate of University of California, San Diego and the Milton Avery Graduate School of Art at Bard College.

A recipient of a 2014 Creative Capital/Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant, Fitzpatrick teaches in the low-residency MFA Program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and is a Visiting Critic at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Visual Arts. She is currently at work on the text for a new book of paintings by Marley Freeman (American Books) as well as an editorial project on the topic of representations of illness in contemporary art.
